Autentica came highly recommended, and as we like broth-filled bowls, especially for breakfast, we thought Mexican food might be a good way to start off our third day in Portland. Both bowls were good, though my menudo tasted perhaps a little too “upscale” – lacking some sort of grittiness or soul?
